Installation

 

4.1. A wireless remote water meter of appropriate caliber should be selected based on the pipe diameter and water consumption at the installation location.
4.2. The installation location should avoid exposure, freezing, pollution, moisture and flooding to facilitate disassembly and meter reading. During the freezing period, in addition to wrapping the water meter and water pipes, close the inlet valve of the water meter and open the outlet valve and faucet when not in use. This can prevent the water meter from being damaged due to freezing expansion. It is recommended to install it in a special water meter box.
4.3. The water meter should be installed horizontally, with the letter facing up and the arrow direction in the same direction as the water flow.
4.4. It is necessary to wash away the gravel, sediment and other debris in the newly installed pipes before installing the water meter to avoid causing water meter failure.
4.5. For accurate measurement, the faucet should be higher than the water meter.
4.6. If the meter is installed at the boiler water inlet pipe, prevent the backflow of hot water from scalding the water meter.
4.7. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline. The water meter and the pipeline should be connected through pipes, sealing washers, and connecting nuts. When disassembling the water meter, do not use hard plates to avoid twisting the case.
4.8. The water meter should be protected from excessive stress caused by pipes and fittings. If necessary, the water meter should be installed on a base or bracket.
4.9. Valves should be installed before and after the water meter to facilitate maintenance and replacement.
4.10. Do not install the meter in a metal water meter box to avoid signal shielding and preventing remote meter reading.

5 Functions and operations of water meters

5.1. The water meter can be powered externally or internally, with dual power supply.
5.2. When the water meter is powered externally, it is online in real time and uploads water meter data every two minutes, including accumulated flow, valve status and other parameters.
5.3. When the water meter is powered internally, it can be uploaded once a day using WIFI, and the upload frequency is adjustable.
5.4. Press and hold the second screen for 3S, and the water meter will automatically upload.
5.5. Press and hold the third screen for 3 seconds, and the water meter motor will automatically switch on and off once.
5.6. Press and hold the fourth screen for 3S, and the water meter will automatically switch modes to Bluetooth configuration mode.
5.7. When the water meter is in Bluetooth mode, the mobile app can connect to the water meter, configure WIFI password, etc.
5.8. Refer to the BLE WiFi configuration interface on the mobile app.

 

Introduction and use of mobile app

 

The BLE WiFi configuration water meter applet is a convenient mobile application that uses the mobile phone platform to provide users with WIFI and Bluetooth configuration services. It is suitable for a variety of scenarios and adapted to various types of users, including home users, property management, commercial users, etc., providing users with more efficient and convenient water meter management solutions. The app has a home page, a nearby Bluetooth search page and a Bluetooth WIFI configuration page.

 

The usage tutorial is introduced as follows:

 


Click the language text box in the homepage picture to switch languages, which are English and Chinese.



1.Select zh to switch to Chinese display (the following demonstrations are all displayed in Chinese by default).
2.Click WIFI Bluetooth configuration to enter the Bluetooth WIFI configuration page. Clicking Search for nearby Bluetooth devices will re-refresh the nearby Bluetooth devices.

 

3. Select the Bluetooth device to connect to the water meter according to the water meter number. First, we switch the LCD screen display page to the fourth screen, find the water meter number we need to connect (952721), then connect the Bluetooth device according to the meter number, and enter the Bluetooth WIFI configuration page.

4. After the mobile phone's Bluetooth device is successfully connected, it can read, write, and transmit data to the current water meter WIFI and Bluetooth. Enter the IP number and port number respectively and enter the data to be sent below. Click Send Data to send successfully.
